Consultation
An application relating solely to the northern parcel along the River Lea Navigation Canal and proposes an additional 66 homes was submitted in November 2024. The proposal seeks the following:
- Additional 65no. homes due to utilising roof space across all apartment buildings
- Relocation of the resident’s gym from Building G to Building B
- Additional 2no. units in Building G due to relocation of gym
- Loss of 1no. unit in Building B due to the relocation of gym
- Amendments to landscaping
- Amendments to parking layouts
The site layout will not change from the current consented scheme, and parking will increase as per the approved parking requirements.

Pre-planning application discussions with the wider community and stakeholders were undertaken for the previous Hybrid application, in accordance with the guidance in East Herts District Council’s Statement of Community Engagement. Previous activity included a dedicated website, a newsletter sent to local residents with opportunity to provide feedback, two public consultation events for local residents and stakeholders, and advertisement of plans and events through the local media.
