Welcome to Hertford Locks

Berkeley Group secured planning permission in March 2020 to redevelop the former Hertford Gas Works. The development known as Hertford Locks is to be landscape led, bringing life back to the River Lea and is set to deliver up to 380 new homes. 

This website has been set-up by the project team to keep you up to date on news and progress as Hertford Locks emerges; including the developments vision, public consultation and more.
